Detail shotThis is a stainless steel csk-head solid rivet. It is manufactured by cold heading or hot forging using 304 or 316 stainless steel wire. The surface is polished to a natural finish or undergoes passivation treatment. The product consists of csk head and a cylindrical solid shaft, forming an integrated structure. It has no hollow part, no threads, and no core rod. By passing the shaft through the through-hole of the connected component, and using pressure or impact force to cause the tail to undergo plastic deformation to form a second anchoring head, a permanent mechanical connection is achieved. This "solid one-piece, permanent locking" design ensures excellent reliability when subjected to impact, vibration, and alternating loads. It is a classic fastening solution for fields such as bridges, ships, aviation, and heavy machinery, which have undergone over a century of industrial application verification.FeatureOverall solid structure
From the head to the tail, it is a continuous solid metal without any hollow parts, welds, or assembly interfaces. The material fibers flow along the contour, and the shear strength and tensile strength reach over 90% of the base material.
Large flat round head design
The diameter of the head is 1.8 to 2.5 times that of the rod diameter. It has sufficient thickness, providing a large bearing area and axial positioning. The surface is smooth and can be used as a decorative surface or functional bonding surface.
Cylindrical smooth rod combination
The diameter accuracy of the rod body is H11 grade, with a surface roughness of Ra ≤ 3.2 micrometers. It forms a gap or light interference fit with the mating hole, facilitating insertion and precise positioning.
Tail forging forming
During installation, the tail undergoes plastic deformation under pressure or impact, forming a second bearing head that is symmetrical to or slightly smaller than the head. After deformation, the metal becomes denser and its strength does not decrease but increases.
Pure material and corrosion resistance
The 304/316 stainless steel body inherently possesses corrosion resistance. There is no risk of coating detachment. Its service life in corrosive environments such as marine, chemical, and food industries is much longer than that of carbon steel galvanized rivets.Specification
